Accommodations

Welcome to Heiltsuk traditional territory. We invite you to experience the warmth of our hospitality, renowned throughout BC’s mid and northern coast. Our rustic and cozy guest rooms are in a lodge right on the ocean and our restaurant offers traditional West Coast fare with an authentic Indigenous influence.

We offer a full selection of services and amenities from our retail stores for your visit. We are part of a thriving community on the Central Coast of BC and would be happy to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our retail stores stock amenities and many common items found in any mainland stores.

MARINA

Mooring at Shearwater couldn’t be easier. Check in with the Harbourmaster at the harbour house to arrange payment, or contact moorage@shearwater.ca. Our rates are competitive and based on the linear length of your vessel. If you need power, we’ll be happy to turn on a breaker for you. We offer 15-, 30- and 50-amp service from multiple points on our dock. Looking to fuel up or get some basic supplies? Our fuel dock convenience store has you covered. In the peak season advance reservations are required to ensure we have a slip for you.

Our Marina has 1,270′ of dock space, potable and non potable water hookups. Reservations are recommended as our docks fill up quick in the summer, you can contact us at moorage@shearwater.ca or call VHF66A.
